Grig
I haven't had time to photograph my computer/console collection but I will soon. For starters I'll show my curio cabiinet stuff which is mostly 70s and 80s toys/items like pop culture stuff. Maybe some of this stuff will spark your memories of when you were younger. oldjd
Geezus! How big is that cabinet????
Grig
It's actually not very big at all - maybe 6 ft tall and 3 ft wide, 2 ft deep. It's in our dining room at the moment and my kids love it because something in the cabinet always strikes up a great conversation during dinner time! I need another cabinet or two. I have some other items to display and of course my Star Wars collection which is pretty massive. I have all of the complete figs except for about 10 or so of the POTF (I used to see them at Toys R Us back in 1985 and think the word "SPECIAL" on the front was dumb so I only bought a few. Boy, who's the "dumb" one now!) Also I don't have anything to display my Atari/Commodore & etc. stuff in/on so it's all in tubs at the moment but I'll take some pics in the garage soon. +save2600
Nice setup of cool misc. 80's stuff! I especially like the Tron trading cards. That thing new, never opened? And the dude from Showbiz... Rock-a-Fire Explosion baby! Hey, you know there's a documentary on Netflix right now about them and Showbiz Pizza Place?
Grig
Thanks! Tron is opened and empty, unfortunately - I need some unopened Tron card packs to fill that bad boy. When I got it it was filled with Battlestar Galactica cards (which are cool) so I went ahead and took the BG cards out so I could put them in an album. OK I got a few more pics of my misc stuff that I don't have a home for yet: 1986 NFL Armchair Quarterback game - complete with the stylus!, Great Space Battles book (superb art in this book), My dad's 1970 Volkswagen manual with unused diagnostic coupons, some of my grandpa's 1930's and 1940's railroad time keeping books (he was an engineer for southern pacific), and some window stickers from a few other states. Skedoodle, Casio PT-80, Return of the Redeye 3D puzzle, some Garfield books, Star Wars Trilogy VHS from 1992 (ESB and SW are unopened), and one ESB Dixie box unopened (anyone have the little holder in the kitchen or bathroom?) from 1980. pce_collector
I don't remember the name of that MASK character, but I believe he had the "Lifter" power to pick up and move objects.

Superb Rubik's game. I was really into Rubik's puzzles in the 80s. They are very challenging. I've got the pyramid coming as well as the original cube (the coca-cola version). I'll post the pics as soon as they arrive.

Rock-a-Fire Explosion baby! Hey, you know there's a documentary on Netflix right now about them and Showbiz Pizza Place? Watched the Rock-a-fire documentary. Very well done. I wonder how much those pieces cost that first collector? Maybe he should lay off the Mountain Dew. Anyway, thanks - great film. The animatronic creator and his wife - they seemed to be on drugs at one point in the interview.
