Hi. Just wondering if the Atari 8 bit black carts have actual variations in their labels (the light vs the dark, yellow lettering vs yellow lettering) or if it's just sun damage or age. Thanks.

It's just sun damage.  In all my years collecting A8 carts, I've never opened a sealed box up to find one that has anything other than the usual dark coloring, anyway.  But I've found plenty of the sun-damaged ones (some of which have color patterns indicating they were partially in shadow).

I've seen some variation in the printing right out of the box but I think they might fade as well.

Oops, I missed that part of the question.  You're right, as far as the lettering there does seem to be some variation.

Yeah, I put yellow vs yellow but I really meant yellow vs orange.
