Nice. Never heard of that show actually. Interesting that they show the European style controllers.

I remember seeing the 7800 being featured on the old show "Double Dare", on Nickelodeon...

They also gave away MegaSTEs too.  

Some of the WWF programs would have "promotional consideration paid for by" spots paid by Atari that would feature a static photo of the 7800 along with the European controllers while the announcer would mention Atari's buzzwords for the product.  It wasn't during "Saturday Night's Main Event" but the cheaper daytime syndicated shows usually shown on Sunday afternoons.

Just got my proline controller from France yesterday. Ebay US prices were stupid so I went to the source. Can't wait to try it out.

Another alternative is Best Electronics sells a controller adaptor that lets you use the Jaguar controller on DB-9 ssytems. Jaguar pad is excellent controller for 7800 as well.

these modded prolines are now pretty sweet, finally comfortable and look great with that ball knob. i have 1 already he modded and need a second to make my set.
