I had this game in my atari! I hope I can do well this week :). Last week was like Laser Gates and the 4th detonator, I almost got there :)
Deteacher really had some reasons to worry. What a incredible score DtKofoed achieved!

Now it's time to put my week scores and latest snapshot:

1) 79,910 (Mon)
2) 95,900
3) 143,450
4) 169,090
5) 173,020
6) 181,820 (Wed)
7) 187,980
8.) 193,460 (Thu)
9) 203,500
10) 224,180
11) 240,750 (Sat)
12) 247,500 (Sun)
13) 317,760 ;-)

I'll put in my first showing for this game: 56,200!

Seaquest (1983) (Activision).png

This attempt was playing in emulation with keyboard controls. I knew I should have brought my CX-40/Stelladaptor to work with me today. :)

This is tough to play without a joystick.

Ok, I have to stop trying to play this with the keyboard now. More than doubled my score, but my hand is killing me now: 118,000!

Seaquest (1983) (Activision).png

I'll play with real hardware tonight. That ought to boost my score some more. I forgot how hard (and fun) this game is. Great pick! :)

Wow! I made it again! SIX players left!
I am not a big Frogger fan but the game was not boring either so last week was ok.
This is where I predict this weeks low score. But first...
Last weeks' game Frogger. I did a bit better on the prediction. I predicted 2550 for the low score and this is how it ended.
5,613 - DT Kofoed 1st
4,063 - Deteacher 2nd
3,999 - Jifremok 3rd
3,759 - JacobZu7zu7 4th
3,670 - Vocelli 5th
3,576 - toymailman 6th
2,813 - Gorfy 7th
I wasn't too far off. And look the top 2 players finished at the bottom!
Now that high score, once again, is truely a feat of greatness!

Onward to Seaquest. What a fun game. Activision was amazing back in the day!
Not much to say about the game but pure fun!
Now we are down to the last six players. The competition will be fierce.
So I predict the low score will be... 220,000 maybe even higher!
C'mon, we are talking about the top players here. Lets see what happens. I imagine that ANYONE could be gone.
Practice, practice, practice!
My first score.

The sound it makes when you lose a sub sounds like something I'd do when I get angry. I wonder if there's a sound file of that sound.

I agree with Deteacher. This game is the most fun a player can have while getting every bit of their hand strength sucked out of their fingernails.

This game is a bit repetitive, "one note"... but at least it's a pretty fun one note.

It sounds similar to the death sound in Squeeze Box.

I noticed that the fish formations are very Stampedesque. One fish, two fish close togther, two fish changing colors, two fish wide apart, three fish close together. I was looking for a Black Angus fish to get big bonus points, but then I remembered that I don't know how to throw a lasso underwater, anyhow. :D
