Tempest
I was reading that 130XE's can use devices designed for the PBI interface with an ECI adapter. Has anyone ever seen one of these adapters? Were ay devices specifically designed for the ECI or is it just a useless annoyance? TXG/MNX
Hi, What you mean is an adapter that converts the ECI + Cartridge to a PBI bus and on this pcb there is a new cartridge connector. This is mounted the sameway as the 800XL. These pcb's where used to connect harddisk interfaces or other 8-bit hardware that was build for the XL series PBI bus. I have a few of them overhere. When you are interested I can sell you one. Send me a private address when you like to have one... TXG/MNX
Curt Vendel
ICD, I think CSS and perhaps at one point Supra made such adapters. I have an ICD version, nothing special or unique about them, they just simply bring the lines out of the 2 seperate ports on the XE's, tap them in the center of the board for an upright cartridge port (excellent idea) and then merge the lines back to a standard PBI edge connector.
