MisterMsk
I have a 4 switch black (vader) model. I would like to tap into this. However, instead of soldering to the pins directly or the underneath of the motherboard. Does anyone know where the best place to tap into them without ruining the board too much. If I have to lift a resister or two. Not a problem. Just don't want to solder onto the chip pins. The "Console Game Hacking" book is what I used (I attached the relevant pages), but what they DON'T tell you is exactly what pin is LEFT and what pin is RIGHT!PIN 12 on the TIA is the RIGHT channelPIN 13 is the TIA is the LEFT channelHave fun - - post some pictures of your "work log" and finished mod, if you don't mind! It's always nice to see other's work! Edited January 5, 2016 by MisterMsk
wired
Hi, I did this mod and getting strange results. I don't get any sound out of the white RCA and I am getting everything out of the red RCA. Can anybody help me finding out what I did wrong? See my pictures... Edited July 8, 2018 by wired
InactiveX
wired: This mod only works on NTSC 2600s because of the variation of TIA between NTSC and PAL.
