I dunno about that. There are people spending $1000+ individually on Battlesphere Gold. For a good 3D shooter on the Jag that everyone could play with no limited runs, its possible to hit 5k I think. It would have to be Battlesphere caliber though. Maybe if the developers did a 1 level demo that everyone could play to see how good it was shaping up to be, or not.

OK, doing the actual calculation reveals it`d actually be $120k per year and not $100k as I meant originally, but it`s the same rough ballpark figure.

I mean, does it make any difference if the kickstarter gives you money for 2 or 4 or even 6 weeks ?
