I dont own or ever have owned a clone system. I was wondering what they use for a TIA chip. Is it an atari part, or a clone itself?

Some clones are Atari authorised so would likely use TIA.

Others such as the Coleco Gemini use a TIA workalike.  No idea if any other "unauthorised" clones use Coleco's chip or not.

Everything aside from TIA was available to anyone "off the shelf", 6507 CPU used by Atari in many peripheral applications, same with 6532 RIOT.
