Ok to make along story short i am thinking of selling off my jaguar collection --sniff..sniff-- but times are hard for me right now and i just want to see were i stand.I went to two different price guides and rarity guides and got two different results in prices and rarity sooooo.I know there are some very knowledgeable collectors on this site and i was wandering if maybe someone here could let me know around what price range my collection would be worth. If i sold it in a box lot ofcaurse.I am going to list the games i have followed buy a pic of the conditions of the games and such the reason i didn't post this in the market place is simply because i don't know if i am going to sell it or not because i have put so much into my collection.Thanx for reading this post and i hope someone can give me at-least a descent figure of what everything would be worth sold together ty again.

Be sure you absolutely, positively must do it. Once you give stuff like this up, you may never see it again, or will have to pay more to get it back.

Ya i know but i am in a hole right now and i need the extra money. If anyone could still tell me a good price for this lot i would appreciate it as i don't have the time to single sale the items. And to Brian R yes i agree with you i will only sell it if i absolutely have to i really worked hard and put alot of money into my jag collection.Maybe i will post my Saturn collection as it is huge in itself.I would rather sell my Saturn collection i mean i love them both sooooo much i just need the cash i just think jaguar items are in more of a demand at the moment but i may be wrong.

Your CD unit is probably the most valuable thing you got there. As "valuable" as it is, I could see parting with it, given its limited use (as I see it) and high value.

Maybe if you get enough from that and the other stuff, you can hold on to your base console, a controller and a few of your favorite games so you're not completely Jag-less.

Sell the decent items individually, the Jag CD should get a decent amount as well as CIB games. Loose cartridges, IMO,  you're better of bundling up and selling as "Collections", eBay 'Super Rare' status is optional.

I'd strongly recommend against selling as a whole set as you'll see certain items being re-sold separetly within a week...

Gorf Classic is the most valuable item in your collection and is worth more than all of your hardware. Definitely sell that separately... via ebay auction... or someone will take advantage of a bulk lot buy for their own profit.

After that, I agree with wozencl. It only takes a small effort to sell the decent items separately and you'll make a LOT more money.

WOW!Thx for the advice guys i can see now what you all mean.I guess in my haste to try to get money for these tuff times that i am having i didn't even think of selling it in that way.I have had a few offers put on the table already but the offers i got were suprisingly low for what i own in my collection. So now i know what you all mean by this they buy my collection for the 400-500$ and then they sell it all seperatly and make a killing.I was thinking to myself hell my cd unit towers2,atari karts, and a few other games alone cost me that.So i think  the best advice i have gotten from you all is like brian r siad sell the cd unit and maybe gorf that should cover what i need.I thank you all for your advice this is why i posted asking for advice because i just didn't really know the worth of my collection. In any event if any one puts a descent offer up for some of these items i will sell.Again ty you all very much for your advice.Even if i cant sell any of this collection for a good fair offer i still have large collections of Saturn and 3do stuff!I just hope it dosent come down to me having to put those up for sale.

You do know Gorf has sold for that and more on its own? Is it an original?

Yeah, not meaning to say it's a dodgy copy, just some people might have made their own. If you've had it 5 years I'm sure it's a good one, but there is a thread on here that compares a good one to something else.

Sorry to hear about your problems, of course, material things are forgotten when it comes to stuff that's actually important in life.

If the Gorf is original please, please sell it separately - put it on eBay now or even in the Marketplace here, you will get offers! Sorry to hear about your situation and I know money is the last thing on your mind but it could make a big difference somewhere down the line.

Definitely worth the most IF it is original.  Been a few cases of fake copies being sold.

I think you're misreading what people said. kevincal is known for his wheeling and dealing, buying low & selling on at a higher price. Some people don't like it as they don't find it community spirited. People were just looking out for your interests - you seemingly needing money quite desperately and potentially offloading your goodies to someone who would probably make a lot more than you would.

Sorry... my fault. I misinterpreted the cryptic posts at the end of the marketplace thread:

"Kevincal ty for ty jaguar sales ^^"

(combined with kevincal's reputation/history and assumed the worst)
