Diesel Punk Destroyer looKs so smooth and awesome.

what parameters have been used?

The left and right parameters known as my eyes.

But if you are asking what the best setting is to use on Rastaconverter I can also say is the application needs to be running. Then you decide... ;)

But seriously...it's a loaded and trick question with nothing but loaded and trick answers, just like politics...seriously. To be good at it you have to know how to maneuver things the right way to spin-doctor the image, just like politics. But politics you also need lots of money and practice, with Rastaconverter it's time and practice.

Wow - the doe&fawn almost looks like a photograph.

I'm glad you like it. That's another image that I've tried and retried over the last year or two, and after dozens and dozens of attempts, I finally got it where I wanted.

That turned out really well - lots of colour but not many "misses" and not having to be reliant on vertical seperation.

Just enjoy them and not over-analyze what did or didn't work right based on the limitations! ;)

That's a pretty neat conversion, there.

Can you post the original image?

Here is the resized source image. I delete all true originals after I resize them to something easier for Rastaconverter to work with, otherwise I have way to many images on my computer eating up space and making it harder for me to sift through them all...I'm just not that organized with my PC... ;)

The simplest and most important thing I always say (up until my last answer) when people ask me questions like this is "It's all in the contrast." If I were teaching a course on using Rastaconverter, I would drill this into the students to no end. Contrast, contrast, contrast!!! It's the only way when dealing with images with thousands upon thousands of colors reduced to 128 or less. Besides that, refer back to my original answer...

Thanks, that's good enough.
