We're looking for Atari 2600 players! Join us on the R'cade Mag forums where you can submit scores on hundreds of classic gaming titles. No VHS tapes or DVDs to send in the mail to get your score verified - in most cases just a photo attached to a forum post! We take scores via live streams as well.

And there's always something going on: contests, Game of the Month, tournaments and you can earn forum tokens for participating! You can then redeem your forum tokens for classic gaming items like books, magazines and game cartridges!

Registration is, of course, free! Take a look:

Should probably change pitfall to be like Indi 500 (based on time left) as it as a score cap.

Good to know. A perpetual Atari contest looks great!

I just registered myself there. I hope one can use the harmony cart to submit scores.

Multicarts are accepted!

Emulation is not (with the exception of MAME and Daphne)

Tonight, Patrick Scott Patterson mentions R'cade Mag as an alternative to Twin Galaxies (fast forward to about the 20 minute mark if you don't want to watch the whole vid)

I'll have to wait my atari 7800 power supply arrives to play Atari 2600 in a real hardware (I guess Atari 7800 is acceptable).
I'm having bad luck with the atari 2600 consoles. My american wood Atari 2600 acquired a random frying/reset behavior... :(

Look at my Frostbite record brake attempt: 2012-07-23_09-58-20_770.jpg

There are two interesting things in this picture. Can you find them?

Yes you can play an Atari 7800 or even a ColecoVision expansion module to submit 2600 scores.

And don't forget, polls are open to vote for August's Game of the Month which is an Atari 2600 title. Whomever places the highest score on August's Game of the Month receives 2500 forum tokens. You can then redeem those tokens for items in our Token Redemption Center.
