Philflound
I just got a batch of about 300 manuals and discovered some ones not on the list. Among them was the black and white Riddle of the Sphinx. I've been trying to find someone who scanned all the pages. My problem is that the one I have has the pages out of order. I'm wondering if this was a fluke with mine only, they made more than one error with this, or they all are out of order? If anyone owns this, please look at the color manuals either on atariguide.com and compare your b&w with his full color scan of all pages. He only has the front and back cover of the b&w, so that doesn't help me. Also, I remember reading several months ago someone had scans of tons of manuals. If that was user42, I downloaded his pdf files, but I was looking to get them in .jpg format. I'm looking to put the manual variations on the videogamevariations website. Scanning tons of manuals is going to take very long, so if I can find an easier way, someone let me know. Atarimania and Atariage don't have too many and Atariguide has his watermark on each page, which I usually don't mind, but many times covers up vital information. Philflound
Guess no one owns this at all? I see at least 2 or 3 on Ebay. Phil
user42
You can save a pdf as jpgs with Acrobat Pro....
Philflound
Thanks for the advice. I'll have to try it after doing some work on the giant variation list. Phil
Philflound
Turns out I don't have Acrobat Pro and definitely cannot afford to get it. I'm going to see if I can find something else that can convert them for free. Phil
Philflound
Found a program called Boxoft that converts the files to jpg. Now i have to just do the conversions. I looked at the 10 files you have. It seems that you have many duplicates in the zips, meaning file 1 and file 2 have some of the same scans. Is this true, or are they different variations of the same game? Right now I'm opening everything in separate files in case they are different. user42
I'm pretty sure the big download with 10 files is a split rar. That means that it is really one big file split into 10 pieces. You should just click on the first one and winrar extracts the whole thing.

Phil This page might be of some use to you, Phil. http://www.makeuseof.com/tag/6-ways-to-convert-a-pdf-file-to-a-jpg-image/ It covers a number of online and offline solutions for converting a PDF to a JPG file. I'm sure there's something on the page that should work nicely.
Philflound
Boxoft worked out. Once I go through the files, I'll pull everything I need an erase duplicate information. This is a giant challenge anyway. Phil
Bomberang
My RotS b&w manual's pages are in the incorrect order as well. Not a fluke.
