Last week at CGE2k12 I spotted a 5-in-1 special version 1.0 MHS cart at the atari2600.com booth. I had never heard of it, and they wanted $30 for it so I picked it up. Searching atariage I was able to gather a little information, but does anyone have any idea how rare this is or how many were made? Best guess from searching is between 6-10 copies. Any info would be appreciated.

thanks,
Charles

Fun little cart, I know it was a limited release for sure. Not sure as little as 10 though... I enjoy playing mine.

seemed like on a few more mentioned order one after this post.

there was also this post that made it sound very rare:

He designed the cart board and I believe built them as well.

Wow, thanks for the flashback!

I guess they are kinda rare, not a bad thing...

Also found this thread: http://www.atariage....s-new-cart-run/

Forgot all about AtariTris but just had a game, not bad at all. Not the greatest looking label art though. I wonder how many of these are out there too.

I did, it's a WIP of Bryan's Castle Crisis. If it's on a regular chip, it can be found. :P

That's pretty cool. Does it need to be disassembled, etc. or can a newb like me find it somehow? ↑↑↓↓←→←→BA ?

Actually it's not Bryan's version but the original Atari version proto...

Yes, there is a way to unlock it from the menu. I won't say anymore to spoil it for you.

I can't belive that thing was almost within arms reach all day and I didn't get it! I looked at several games in that pile. If anyone is selling one of these please let me know. Congrats Charles.

2005 was a great time to be into the 5200. There were a lot of conversions and new games like these being made.

I haven't played mine in about three years. I might have to drag it out.
