Is it true that, in this version of the game, there's some kind of bug that prevents you from finishing it??

The supply resurrection bug... always thought that was a realistic feature. Hell, with war being so much fun, why wouldn't Jules or Jopps want to take the weapons off a fallen comrade?

Yikes!  I guess I'll pick it up for my 3DO, then.

I've beat every level in Cannon Fodder and never had any bugs pop up. Of course I did avoid the end of mission screen like the guide suggests, but I never ran into any in-mission bugs.

I managed to complete it on the 3DO without ever finding any bugs at all, but some of the later missions were hell without a mouse. Play it on an Atari ST if you want a decent experience of it.

How did you avoid that screen?  I'm assuming you just pressed Start before it had a chance to pop up.

It's war on a budget! Can't afford to supply everyone after all, just leaving the fallen soldiers weapons is wasteful.
But yeah, this game can get pretty difficult without a mouse... Still a good time despite that and it's many bugs

It's the second bullet on the guide from a few posts above. Just hit the A, B, and C buttons and it will skip it or maybe just display for a very short time, like less than a second.

Back in 1997 I beat the game and only took me like 4 months of tears and hitting my head on the ground. I never saw any weird bug except for the game being so fucking hard. I lost the game some years ago and finlly found one locally but ofcourse by controller broke the moment I started it up.
