Selling my Atari 2600 Collection (143 games, a console, joysticks, more)

This auction starts at .99 cents so bid away!

I'm selling my Atari 2600 bunndle. It has 143 games (all cart only) a handful of which are either 4 or 5's on the rarity scale. There are very few duplicates. Many games are commons. The lot includes an Atari 2600a woodgrain console, 3 joysticks, 3 dual paddles, 2 single paddles, touchpad controller, 2 keypad controllers, 1 controller extension cable, and tons of extra hookups for the console (power cord, etc.). The carts range from excellent - ok condition (All the rarer games are in great shape), I have not tested all of them, but I have tested around 80 and they have all worked so far so I imagine the rest will work as well (I have tested all of the rarer games and can confirm they work just fine).

A couple of highlights are the Star Wars Arcade Cart and the Subterranea cart, but there are others in the bunch that are harder to come by as well.

Thanks for looking.

I think the reserve I have is a reasonable and relatively low amount. $150 for this lot would be a steal in my opinion as I have seen multiple lots half this size sell for $150-$170. Like I said, you are very close to breaking down the gate.

@153.50 plus your quoted 40 shipping from your listing I'd be already throwing 200 at it.

Not looking for a steal just a deal!

I'm not overvaluing it. My lot is literally triple the size of this one that sold for $150 and there are quite a few more like this online. eBay Auction -- Item Number: 1408375196481?ff3=2&pub=5574883395&toolid=10001&campid=5336500554&customid=&item=140837519648&mpt=[CACHEBUSTER]

I'm not trying to rip anyone off here honestly. I apologize if my reserve doesn't agree with some members here.

Whatever... It looks like you only got 100 in it

can someone tell me what made that other auction go for $150? a severe bidding war over ... what exactly? The storage center? Seems hinky to me. That kind of price is the exception, not the rule.

Anyway, you do have some nice carts in your lot, I'm following this one to see where it ends. Good luck.

You can find one auction that two dumbasses are overbidding on any kind of item. I can show you 20 comparable auctions to that one that have sold for less than $75. No one is saying you are trying to rip anyone off. You have every right to set whatever reserve you want, you own it. You came here, in an Atari forum asking(or advertising) about you auction. At least in my case I am giving you honest feedback based on my 15 years of buying and selling Atari items. Nothing more, nothing less. Selling in a lot ALWAYS sell for less than breaking up the lot.

Yes. I resell things to make money... There are literally millions of people who do the same thing. I still think that a $200 reserve is a fair price for the size of the lot. That Batman VHS tape is a very rare collectors piece connected to the Diet Coke contest held back in 1989 prior to the release of the movie. It is a screening copy of the original film and is very slightly different from the final release in theaters.

What is the difference in the two movies? I remember when Batman came out on VHS, I worked at a video store. We hald a midnight rental with 90+ copies. They were all rented within 1 hour. Anyway, I like 70s and 80s pop culture items - any links to the contest? Youtube commercials? You can PM me if you like instead of the thread crap.
