Retrospect
TEXAN.zip TEXAN DEALER INSTRUCTIONS.zip WARNING: This game is NOT suitable for children. Brief note; When you press key 4 to view your goods, the figures next to the item names are the quantity you have, and the price you originally paid for them. This is to help you make profit from selling them, for example, you might have bought a certain item from Kingsville at $9 each, and found they are selling in Edinburg at $59 each. In the 31 days the game gave me, I got $85,000 .... my personal best! Edited October 22, 2012 by Retrospect

Retrospect
Jesus this is an old one of mine. It's actually quite badly written but is a good one. Thanks anyhow - for the instructions, that's really great.

Retrospect
Classic game. I remember playing drug wars / dope wars in early 90s Cheers budz .... I've just been sat playing Texan Dealer for about 5 minutes..... It's in dire need of a re-write .... I might have a bash at an updated version in a bit. I loved the dopewars game , one I had was for Atari ST and then the DOS original.
+Ksarul
I actually have the granddaddy of all games from this genre (a board game from around 1970) called SCAM, the International Dope Smuggling Game. It was made by a company called Brown Bag Enterprises and came in a long round tube with a nice garishly-colored label wrapped around it that depicted a humongous doobie (e.g., spliff, etc.). It was a quite fun game that I eventually wanted to convert to the computer. Using the larger multicarts, it may even be possible to do so now without losing all of the graphics. . .which were hilarious in their own right.
