I have done a memory upgrade to 320K on an 800XE, which is working properly as far i know, Numen is working on it, It's really great to see this demo on the real hardware !! (I have also soldered in a good gtia :D )

has somebody some ram test software for me ? to check if everything is ok....

Thanks,

Check out the XRAM-Tool by XI of Satantronic. Follow this link: http://www.atari.sk/satantronic/. Unfortunately, it is programmed for testing the 1MB SIMM Upgrade invented by Satantronic (Also, I'm very proud to have such an expansion in my XE!). But I think XRAM also capable to error-test every BIBO/Rambo-like memory upgrade.

Let a note, if the programm is running fine to you!!

Download Macro-assembler XE somewhere. There is tool included that is can do a DEEP scan test.

It scan's and test the memory very good. But can run for a few hours.

I use it for my memory upgrades.

My 1Mb was tested this way also. hmm but 1Mb is still not enough maybe I gonna build a 16Mb version l8er....

It sounds to me like Numen is basically "testing" it for you...that demo requires 320k, so if it's working, your upgrade is obviously working properly. Unless you just have to see the memory check numbers scroll... ;)
