After that, the prices will revert back to $20, and $15, respectively. You can place your orders or find out more on my blogger homepage: http://www.carlmuellerjr.com/ As before, the sale price includes PDFs or scans of the instructions, overlays, box (back and front) - even the cartridge sticker - used in the actual physical release. In addition, each ROM is serial numbered and customized to include your name in the in-game credits. Please include a note with your payment if you want to use a special name (18 characters max). If you haven't tried this game out, what are you waiting for? No more excuses - play it anywhere, anytime, on real hardware or emulation! AT THE END OF THE YEAR, prices for the D1K/D2K ROMs will revert back to $15 and $20, respectively. At $10, either one is a steal. Why the same price, you may ask… if D2K essentially contains D1K, why not just buy D2K instead? Because only D1K has: - The option to play using the original, Japanese screen ordering. Play one screen after the other: barrels, pie factory, elevators, and rivets – screens don't repeat until you've completed all four! - Play Elevators at slow speed (at level 1 difficulty), impossible in the US version of the game. - Play the Pie Factory at level 1 difficulty, also impossible in the US version of the game. - A title screen with DK playfully mugging for the camera. :-) Why not take advantage of this deal and buy both? It will definitely encourage me in the future to write new games, knowing that I can subsidize the (outrageous) cost somewhat for producing the physical product as well. I even hope it gets to the point where I can write a game, knowing that at least I can depend on some ROM sales, even if it never makes it to the physical product. I never for one second thought that Carl had done anything wrong or that anything was suspect about the dealing. I left for vacation on the second and got back on the tenth and figured perhaps, with the New Year he was busy or on vacation, no big deal. He has confirmed that he sent me the ROM on Dec 31.
