A couple of years ago, I acquired a 48k version of an Atari 800. I tested it upon receipt, but since then, it's been sitting in the box. I'd rather not do the eBay thing, so I'll offer it here.
It is one of the "later" versions of the 800, with the big notice on the box "Now with 48k RAM!". It includes a number of manuals, BASIC and PacMan, but no joysticks. It appears to be in the original packaging, as all the serial numbers match. There does not seem to be any yellowing, altho these systems seem to be fairly resistant to yellowing. When I originally received it, one of the RAM cards had jiggled loose during shipping, but that was easy to fix, and I am just mentioning it in the eventuality that the same thing happens if I re-ship it. Oh, and it's been sitting in a room where I smoke, altho boxed up.
I actually acquired it as potential trading material, so I'd rather trade for stuff first, with my wishlist being:
* An Atari 16-bit ethernet adapter
* Any of the first generation 6502 SBCs; KIM, SYM or AIM
* DEC Pro-350 system
I am in northern NJ, so if you're close, we can try to arrange for pickup/trade, as I suspect shipping will be on the expensive side (I estimated $50 from UPS, based on rough dimensions and weight).
