cOLeCoHiTMan
getting this error when trying to run the test program following the steps... sorry if the questions are dumb.. i've been working in visual studio so long don't have to worry about the underlying stuff anymore. +Gemintronic
Stupid question, but did you make sure the file manager or command line you used had Administrator rights? You know - right mouse click on cmd.exe and hit "Run As Administrator"? Also, if you previously ran any program even remotely connected with the devkit some files may still be in use. You may even need to restart your computer *just* to make sure.
cOLeCoHiTMan
I ran the bat files as administrator and they failed right away....so I went back and didn't run as admin. Then I copied the files manually that failed. I opened the bat file in notepad to make sure I had everything right.
cOLeCoHiTMan
1. put my files in c:\colecovision\z80 2. uninstalled and reinstalled sdcc 3. opened CMD as admin and went to c:\colecovision\z80 and ran the bat file... it did take longer so looks like that definitely helped.. and didn't do the same as right clicking the bat file and saying run as admin. 4. copied cci2.exe to the test folder, clicked compile all.... clicked Default.. clicked Link.. same error. hardhat
Well, you could try with CCI3.exe I suppose. http://www.atariage.com/forums/topic/187160-cci3-alpha-version/ Maybe that'll help. Although I'm not sure where the best place is to get the official latest CCI3 since Daniel usually gives it to me on a USB flash drive. cOLeCoHiTMan
Hey.. thanks.. it was in his zip file.. Works much nicer.. the first time i tried it I copied CCI3 into the project folder and nothing happened but I just noticed in your post its supposed to stay in the Z80 folder. Now to start learning!
