bennybingo
Do you have any feedback of any kind on a forum or eBay? I would love to add this to my collection, but i'm very hesitant to purchase anything over $20 to someone without references. As this game is a bit on the pricey side, references would be a must. Thanks!
atari181
Yes need some references. How much are you looking to get for it?
Simply_Dave
I've been in the game for a long time. You can check my 3700+ ebay feedback at simply_dave or my 70+ fb at Digital Press under Simply Dave. I've recently sold Stadium Events, CIB Flintstones 2, Magical Chase CIB and DKC Comp Cart without a hitch. I don't recognize a lot of you newer guys, but old timers have probably seen me around. newtype5
what's the offer up to?
Stan
He won't say. A friend of mine said, in its condition, $90 would be as high as he'd go on it. I mentioned that and he said he has higher offers, but has yet to tell me what they are.

Dave Also, no offense, but you could easily say "this is me" and it could be someone else entirely. For someone with that much feedback who's apparently been around, I find it a little odd you haven't posted here until you had something rare for sale. But, that's just a natural precaution for something of this caliber.
atari181
I would also like to know where the offer is. I would say its worth considerably more than $90, but still no response to my first post about how much he is looking to get for it.
newtype5
i will say i offered more than $90 for it, but that wasn't the highest offer received, from what he told me a few days ago.
Stan
Getting suspicious... I have to say, personally, if it is over $100 I wouldn't pay more in its current condition. It will bother me, those cracks and the label lifting. For this kind of game, I like it like Tooth Protectors IRL.

I told you I had higher offers. Where is the suspicion? Am I missing something here?
Stan
No, "Dave", I said my friend, who is a well-known collector here, suggested a price of no more than $80 or $90 in its current condition. It was HIS suggestion. I asked "what do you think?" To which you responded, "I have higher offers". I asked what they were so I could possibly counteroffer, and you have yet to tell me. So the suspicion is simple. You could be anyone, someone who possibly knows who Dave is, went by the name, and then posted his eBay information, it wouldn't be hard to do. Just because you say "that's me", doesn't mean it is, this is the internet after all. Anyway, all people wanted here was an idea of what offers are and you just keep telling us, apparently, that they're higher than what we're giving, but yet you're not saying what that offer is so we can counteroffer. That's the issue. I encountered this one other time where it ended up being someone trying to game people and they were kicked out of the group in question (wasn't here). They kept saying to others they were getting higher offers, kept raising the price, and then it was revealed they weren't getting offers from some mystery person. If you had higher offers, why didn't you take it already? Based on condition, and from what I've heard, $100 would have been pretty fair for this game in its current condition, which isn't that good, but you didn't take it, but you also didn't let anyone know what this mystery offer really was. If someone has an offer, say what it is, and respond to PMs so we know what's going on if we're actually interested. Not going to buy from someone who doesn't give me more information. nofrills100
So my burning question is: Who, of the 'old timers', can vouch for this guy? Or if I pm you at digital press or through ebay - will you answer me to confirm your identity?
Atari_Bill
Offering $80 for River Patrol is an insult IMHO. Yeah, if I had the dough at the moment, I'd be offering well over $100 for this. Hell, I'd offer $80 for a River Patrol with NO label.

I believe your credentials, its the keping your offers totally a secret I have the problem with. I would have put a significant offer on this, but you never once replied about what the offer was or how much you were looking to get for it originally. Most likely you lost out on money as I am willing to pay whatever it takes to get an item I want.

No in theory I wanted to know how much you werfe looking to get for it. as in post #3 says. If you were to say. "I am looking for at least $200" then you obviously wouldnt have any $80 offers now would you? Dont get into a pissing match with me because you mishandled your sale. All I am say is the reason why I wouldn't send you an offer. Nothing more!
