I loved Jarts when I was a kid. I never remember anyone getting hurt by them, but I suppose dumb kids probably threw them at each other. Neat!

Like anything else, people did dumb things with them or weren't responsible enough.

If that's the sort of offers you're accepting, then I'll offer to take someone out and make it look like an accident. However, you have to send me the Jarts first for it to work.

Noted, for future use in blackmail.

Sweeet. I miss those things. Kept them in my parent's garage for decades. Unfortunately, can't afford to make an offer at this time.

This is the real deal my friends. This is the original brand of these things, before they started to get a little worried about it. This is slightly harder to come by because you see the child still depicted on the box. Overall, good shape. Box has some wear, as you see in the pictures. Only thing missing is one of the yellow rings, which isn't absolutely necessary for play (it just makes it so you can play one side, play from that one, and go back and forth without picking them up to move), and is easy to replace. Fins are in great shape, looks barely used. Relive your dreams. I'm looking for some Jaguar games, so I might do a trade, but selling is fine too. Feel free to PM or post any questions.

These would be more awesome if they had razor sharp barbed points on the end. Seriously though, your set is awesome!!! I used to play lawn darts around 30 years at my grandmas. AND... no one ever got hurt.

Just need to be safe. Scope out the area you're playing in, don't let anyone young play unless properly instructed and watched, watch for pets, and have fun.

That's too much work to play a game especially by the standards of kids and teens now-a-days.

Myself, I'd rather find a comfortable chair to lounge in that is a safe distance away, crack open a cold one and watch the carnage insue when these babies start flying.

Oh yeah.... BUMP!!!

Yes, and it's my final offer. Do you accept?

BTW: I do see these CIB from time to while thrifting. Usually in pretty funky shape though and dirt cheap (with dirt and grass still stuck to the ends). Your set looks to be in better shape than I typically see.

If you see THIS set in good condition, GET IT. There are later darts brands like the sliders and stuff that are much easier to find.

I remember playing with lawn darts....while it was fun, I sure would have rather been playing ATARI (same family, by chance, as the darts owners)...and I don't care who you are, at some point somebody throws one directly in the air and everybody scatters in a game of Chicken Darts. YIKES...at least the version we played didn't have sharpened tips, lol...not that it would have made a difference to a skull I suppose!

Bottom line: stupid people do stupid things and then I get no more lawn darts. Which is also stupid; it was kinda fun. Only so much croquette you can play, lol. Wear a helmet for crying out loud.

I like Jarts! I had an incomplete set as a kid, got them in a garage sale - just the lawn darts, nothing else.
