+DarkLord
Was going through some old Current Notes magazine issues and fold some relevant items: Interesting stuff there...
Atari_Falcon
Old thread I know... But does anybody know how to mod the Stacy for batteries? Best regards, Chris
+DarkLord
I seem to remember a couple of users "jury rigging" some setups but nothing specific. Only a few of the first models had the battery setup complete - after those, Atari removed the internal stuff once they figured out that even with new batteries the uptime was horrible. Good luck. Tillek
My sister has one of these and I've considered picking one up to see how well it works on the STacy (and maybe the other machines)..... https://www.amazon.com/dp/B078T1Q18D/ref=dp_prsubs_2

Tillek
That actually looks interesting! My sister bought hers of QVC, so naturally there was the whole sales pitch program.... I don't remember the exact times, but it supposedly would run a big screen HDTV for many hours, so I'm guessing you'd get a few hours at least out of a STacy.
