Bikerbob
Well it was my configuration that was messing me up. I have it running ok now.. for the HD and the STiNG.. I can get online with it. Browsing I think is a write off period, just no current pages out there that will render in pure HTML .. everything CSS and java, etc, etc, BUT I can get on the boards with TELNET, and I can also IRC. and I assume get emails. As I have said about the 8-bit and I will say it for the ST wish forums like this had some sort of NEWSGROUP access or something that could work on a text browser or something. +DarkLord
Is Newsie still viable for newsgroups? Used it back in the day and it was pretty nice.... Seems like there was an alternative for it as well, that was preferred by some... HTHs.

Bikerbob
Well I have my system(s) setup in my computer room (man cave since its in the basement) and I have been running this combo. My main going is once again to get internet and various useful things work.. IRC telnet and email. aIRC by Lonny Purcell will only work with an AES of 4.0 or higher. So this means I have to run MagiC or Geneva. Any other IRC programs out there?? I am also having trouble getting this to work. What about a good Telnet and email?? NEODESK and Geneva are leaving me with about 1.6meg of usable memory. I am also finding issues running these programs in a Geneva window.. they dont want to be in a window.
