Hey, I got a ECS today and i wonder if I could plug your controller in the port of the ECS? If you have a ECS may you could try? It has the same plug ins like the INTV, also I have the european version of the ECS :) (the brown one)

I would assume it does not work with ECS, as I don't have one to test. I know it works with Intv2 and will be checking operation with Sears Super Video Arcade in a week or two.

@ grips

You are just awesome  Buying a Sears to test it, spending your controller for somebody who is interessted. Great job and I am proud to get a controller of the 1st run :-D

I tested Sears Super Video Arcade today and it will work fine. Pinout between it's controllers and Intv2 controllers are the same. The db9 cable I'm using is straight, so it fits either system's controller ports.

Damn, I cant await to test this baby. I recognized at Congo Bongo that the 4-way gate is really needed ^^ If you make more controllers I am pretty sure that I take one more, but first I am happy to get one of the first run. Is there an estimated release date? Maybe this month, or does it take much longer?

Its not to hurry you up, its just to plan other buys :)

I'm updating post 1 as things progress. Beta PCBs should arrive in a couple of weeks. If all goes well I'll start to ship in 2-3 months.

@ pimpmaul

I dont want to play with 4 players, I just dont have a working Intellivision II or Sears and thats why I asked if I can plug his controller into my ECS to use it on my Intellivision I, or if I have to buy a working INTV II or Sears. But I am afraid its not possible to use his stick with the ECS. Or was it that what you wanted to say, because the ECS controller ports are for the controller 3 and 4?

I would like to do that way, but perhaps I'll have to do it the other way.
