These 4 blanks refer to the Failsafe code. _ _ _ _ TIP 2: Watch Failsafe videos, made by PacManPlus, in order to learn the mechanics of this game. oyamafamily
44,200 Roadrunner, did you start your 7800 Failsafe gameplay with 5 lives? I tried Failsafe on my 7800 Prosystem Emulator version 1.3, and I noticed the following difficulty settings by default (after opening or reseting this cartridge), i.e., without holding F5 and F6 keys at the moment I start this game: 3 lives to start, and 30 seconds to guess Failsafe code. I did use 5 lives difficulty B/B on the emulator MESS. Is that a good thing or bad thing?
oyamafamily
I did use 5 lives difficulty B/B on the emulator MESS. Is that a good thing or bad thing? Yes, it's a good thing. For those who never played 7800 Failsafe, Left Position on Difficulty Switches is equivalent to B / Novice, and Right Position is equivalent to A / PRO. It's mentioned on 2600 HSC Rules and Regulations. Edited June 12, 2013 by oyamafamily

aftermac
With the low turnout this round, I've been inclined to focus on the 3 games in the 2600 HSC. I hope everyone isn't just sandbagging! I do hope we have a new game to play on Monday, since the poll didn't get posted.

aftermac
5,500 Not sure what happened to the crowd this week... I know there's a few people that only play on real hardware, who might not have Failsafe. This round was my first time playing... For what it's worth you did a nice job on it... I'm just not very good at it!
