No continues. ************************************************************************* I have MAME .122 and .145 there is no dipswitch setting for this game So I went into service mode and looked at the coin menu setting is 1 coin 1 credit....logic dictates that I should only start with 2 lives when I "drop" two coins in....BUT this is the results..notice that I am starting with three lives. Even if I start with 1 credit and "drop" another coin in I am given 2 lives for one coin....this happens in both versions of MAME...so either I take a screenshot after losing my second life or there needs to be a modification made to the parameters of this round...meaning start with three lives....otherwise every screenshot will show 1 credit remaining...which then changes the bonus aspect of the round given that when 1 credit is on screen and you "drop" another coin in you will have three credits. No continues. ************************************************************************* Sorry if I sound like I am being OCD about this.. but I am just trying to follow your rules I'm using Wolf MAME 106 and its working correctly. When the game starts I have one player on the filed and one in reserve. (total of 2) If you keep the default settings Do you have the number 1 next to the energy bar? (like in my first image, follow the arrow) In short, 1 coin = 2 lives, 2 coins = 4 lives. The number of lives on the top of the screen are the remaining lives not including the one on the playing field. Press 5 to add coins to play along with Marge, then press 1 to start the game. Press 6 to add coins to play along with Homer, then press 2 to start the game. I'll compare the default one player controls to the two, three and four player and see if I can change them. EDIT: OK, that worked...I have never changed the controller options in MAME before.
