Since this is the last week of the regular season and then the playoffs start, why not a baseball game. This week is a W game and it's World Series Baseball '96.

 

Play a Homerun Derby. (not classic homerun derby)

 

Pitch Speed: All Star

Batting Level: Rookie

 

The other settings can be of your choice. Use any hitter you want for any team.

 

The check at the end is $1,000 per HR hit.

Pm me what place you think you'll finish and how many points you want to wager. If your right about your place, I'll add those points to your score. If you're wrong I'll subtract them from your score. You don't have to pm me a wager, this is optional and I'll keep it secret. Once a pm is sent, it can't be taken back.

 

Note if you bet on a place and finish higher you do win your bet. For example if you bet 2^nd and finish 1^st you get the points. T

 

If you want to bet 4^th the most points you can wager is 2

If you want to bet 3^rd the most points you can wager is 3

If you want to bet 2^nd the most points you can wager is 4

If you want to bet 1^st the most points you can wager is 5

 

 

Bonus:

Hit a HR in any other game for any other system besides a Sega system. This must be proven and a legit over the fence HR. No inside the parks. (1 point) Screenshots required. Once a game has been posted, that game can't be posted again.

I mean, being a rugby fan I can understand the basics of American football, I even watch NFL highlights sometimes (mostly of whatever team Reggie Bush is playing for currently), but baseball is a mystery to me. Never watched a game of baseball, never played a baseball videogame.

 

But i'll give this a try later this week. May I bet on finishing last this round?

Obviously I wasn't serious about betting on finishing last.

 

Played it today a few times as it's a short one (in this mode anyway). First I chose some random batter and ended with 0 home runs. Then I went with the only name I'm familiar with - Ruth (I assume that's Babe Ruth) and all of the sudden scored 7 hr. Then Ruth again (3) and 2 more random guys (0 and 1). So I don't really feel like I've done anything - all credit must go to Babe Ruth and his superior batting skills.
