RXB Posted November 9, 2013 Share Posted November 9, 2013 I believe printers need both 0Dh (CR) and 0Ah (LF). Otherwise, everything prints on one line. I'm not sure why the programmers of TI Writer needed CR because it limits TI Writer files to 79 printable characters in both DV80 and DV80 files. ...lee I can show you the GPL code that does not need CR to print a file as it add the CR after each line in EA or REA. If you print a file from EA and it has CR at each line you hear the Print head do that noise twice for a reason. The GPL flie print utility sends one after each line.
