cimerians
That was great....ha GI Joe! I used to play that all the time. The almighty 64! Yep my 1980's disks still work too. I wonder how collectable ipads will really be? Since all games are tied to people's accounts without anything physical to buy or touch I think the hobby dies pretty soon..... I dont know. Maybe our accounts and our downloads will be available 20 years from now. I just dont know how collecting\thrifting and anything else will happen anymore. +Gemintronic
Of course, the hidden third option is to emulate the C64 on your iPad and win. I already run DOSBox on my iPad to get work done.
desiv
For those people that feel emulation is enough, that's great... I had an SX-64 back in the day, and emulation just doesn't get the "weight" of the experience.. (I suppose I could duct tape the iPAD to a cinder block, and get a keyboard and string it to the iPAD.. Have to mask off the screen tho, otherwise it's too big...) desiv
