I just made an extra account on my PS4 to get games off the Hong Kong store. Got XETA for PSVR which is actually pretty fun. Your stationary in some sort of Battle Armor and swarms of fast moving aliens attack you. Sometimes it can be hard to track them as they do move quite fast and arent very big but the fast intense battles are quite exciting. Also got Lunar Stone Origin of Blood also for PSVR but havent tried it yet

I plan on starting in on a new game on the PS4 after christmas, although still not sure which one. Kind of tempted to do Ys VIII but with their complete-redo of the localization not completed yet, it feels like it'll be a train wreck to even attempt it. I may just start off small and try to finish up the two touhou games I still need to finish.

I'm new to the PS4 and so far I play mostly the "free" PS+ games.

The Tell Tale Batman series.. nice interactive comic, not much of a game though. Don't think i'll play all the episodes.

Rayman, with my daughter.. It's a fun game( a bit frustrating when the other player can't keep up though) - this certainly will be played a lot

Darksiders II Deathnitive edition.. Well i'm new to these kind of games. It's ok. Not a fan of the puzzle elements especially when it's hard to see where you can or have to climb/jump to get to a certain spot. But the hacking and slashing is nice.

COD WWII. .. Missions only so far. well here it really shows the lack of experience wth the modern controllers. Finding the right button on the controller doesn't come very natural yet. Even had to google what the bleeping L3-R3 buttons where :P

The game is a bit too hollywood. Would have been better to have it more authentic/realistic but ok. It looks and sounds great.

Kung Fu panda- It's ok for a free game. We have some fun with it, but it's not great in any way.

Currently playing Horizon Zero Dawn. I got it for Christmas and have been playing it since. I've wanted to play it since it was released, but I was too into Breath of the Wild and I didn't want to do both at the same time. Really loving Horizon right now, but I don't have the same level of attachment that I had to BOTW. I plan to finish Horizon, but I doubt I will do "everything" the way I did for BOTW.

Seeing as I just picked up my PS4 pro last night, I've only got Journey, Flower, and a physical copy of Rez infinite that I've played on mine so far. I really am impressed with how well Rez Infinite looks. But sad there isn't any music on the menu screens when choosing which area to go to as there was on the PS2 and original DC release of the game. Wonder why they took that out?

I finally recently got Resident Evil 7. And... well, I'm not sure how I feel about it. I tried playing it in VR, and as I kind of suspected from the demo that came with my PSVR, it is actually *too scary* to play that way. It's like a waking nightmare. I had to go back to playing the regular way so that I'd have at least a little separation between the game and reality. I mean it's kind of amazing that a game can make me feel that way, but it's just not all that pleasant a feeling for hours on end.

But after going back to playing on TV, I started to notice all the little things about survival horror that have always annoyed me. Stuff like having to backtrack a lot to solve puzzles, and never having enough ammo. I know these are kind of staples of survival horror, but to me they make the game less fun. I also don't like the parts where you have to avoid that stupid old lady by hiding behind things. Why am I supposed to be so afraid of an old lady?

Well, so not sure if I'll finish it. It's supposed to be really short, I guess, so I may be about halfway through according to the reviews I've read.

I finished Horizon a week or to ago and switched over to Wolfenstein II. I was very pleased with the ending to Horizon and I'm enjoying Wolfenstein so far. However, I'm taking a short break to play a game that arrived yesterday. I started the Shadow of the Colossus remake last night. I finished the first 8 colossi and I've really enjoying it. I've played through the original many times, so there is nothing new for me, which is why I'm getting through it so quickly. I recommend it both for those who have played it before and for those who are new to it.

RE7 was one of several games I got for Christmas along with a PSVR. I've been playing through most of those games and I plan on getting to RE7 eventually. I'm really loving my PSVR, but I'm not sure if I want to play RE7 that way for the same reasons you described above. I tried out the kitchen demo (or whatever it was called) and I have to say that it was pretty freaky. I swear it really hurt when she stabbed my leg. :P I think I prefer the racing games, puzzle games and sim games for VR and will stick with normal gameplay for horror games.

I'm playing Odin Sphere currently, which, like all Vannillaware games is a lot of fun at the beginning. Let's see how soon it gets boring compared to Dragons Crown or Muramasa ;)

I played through the first two characters, then took a break for a few months. When I came back to it, I found I'd fallen in love with the game even more than before, and I finished the remaining characters and final episode without losing interest. I actually wanted more when it was done.

Lara Croft and the Temple of Osiris. Fun game but very different than any other Tomb Raider game Ive ever played before

It's a direct successor to Lara Croft and the Guardian of Light. The gameplay is nearly identical to Guardian of Light, but the world in Temple of Osiris is more "open" compared to the levels/missions of Guardian of Light. I thought Temple of Osiris was okay, but Guardian of Light was fantastic. If you liked Temple of Osiris, definitely give its predecessor a shot. Common consensus greatly favors Guardian of Light.
