For your halftime enjoyment, we'll be playing 4 games off of Buckner & Garcia's Hit Album "Pac-Man Fever" This will be a two week tournament. All games will be played with default dip switch settings. With 4 games going on, here's a chance for everyone to score some serious points and climb up the leader board standings. The games we'll be playing are: A yellow, pie-shaped character named Pac-Man runs along inside a maze, eating dots as it avoids four ghosts. Each ghost has its own unique personality and gobbling one of the four super dots makes Pac-Man invincible to the ghosts for a given period of time. Each maze has its own unique bonus fruit or object with bonus points increasing as the game progresses. Dip Switch Settings: 3 starting lives. Extra life at 10K. Tables are updated! Not sure where kane went, but I'm sure he'll be back to attempt to reclaim the top spot on the leaderboard. I'm sure GimmeClassics and M.A.M.E. Offender will not let it go without a fight. There's a big fight to get into the top 5 right now between DonPedro, Deteacher, Cynicaster and Darrin999. Don't count any of them out either. I may be able to find a half decent score on DK, but I tend to spend more time playing obscure stuff, so I pretty much suck at most of the "A-list classics". Pac-Man for example... M.A.M.E Offender Posted January 4, 2014 Share Posted January 4, 2014 Gee, thanks Deteacher! How did I manage to get scores like that in Defender? Hours and hours of practice!! At first, I was churning out scores no higher than 30 to 35k. It was extremely frustrating. But playing Defender felt so rewarding so I kept playing.
