Adventure Vision for sale!

Fellow Gamers,

I have an out of the box Adventure Vision unit available with 2 games. I recently found out that my wife is pregnant, so I am left with cleaning out as much as possible to make room. I live in Virginia and I will ship, but I am not responsible for damage during shipping. I will not give a starting price as I want to let the demand drive the price. If I do not get enough then I will find a way to hide it from my wife.

The bad news : The joystick will only control going to the left. (I don't want to dismantle it to fix) The sound works, but the switch has to be just right for it to work. I only have two games, Space Force and Defender. Only Defender boots up, but I haven't tried to clean any contacts or troubleshoot.

The good news : All buttons, speaker, LEDs, and rotating screen works fine.

So please, if you are interested, make me an offer. Please don't try to low ball me though, I know how hard these are to come by.

JT

I think part of the problem is when you don't set a price and you tell everyone not to make low offers you have basically closed the doors on most of your already small market of niche buyers....

Its very hard for one to judge what may be lowball on a broken item.

i would like to chime in with this information: in july 2010, my now-wife got me a working loose system with all four games for just under $800 (on ePay).

taking into account a working system, double games, AND a 3.5 year difference, i would say that a reasonable price for your unit would be somewhere between 300-450 shipped.

you might want to show more pics of the underside labels, the battery cover (if present), and the condition of the terminals. that alone would drive up the offers a bit.

good luck with your sale and congrats to the lucky person who ends up with this amazing machine!

Thanks for the congrats, as I wound up buying this. I've been looking for one of these for decades, and am thrilled to finally own one.

Cool thanks for the info.

Looking back, it was a phenomenal risk to pay someone who I didn't know and who said "not responsible for damage during shipping," but it sure paid off. It is my prized possession now.
