Herbertsmart
Welcome to the 7th annual Arcade/Pinball charity prize raffle in support of the March of Dimes! I am again running this raffle to fundraise for the March of Dimes, whose mission is to eliminate pre-term labor and the complications associated with it. All three of my nieces were preemies and received care in the NICU, so I am now a life long supported of the March of Dimes. Thanks to the support of the Arcade/Pinball community I'll be raffling off prizes to those who contribute to the fundraising campaign. The list of prizes is still growing, but here are a few of the vendors donating prizes to the raffle: Pinball LifeBob RobertsCajun ArcadeCAXPinball ExpoGround KontrolThis Old GameGolden Age Arcade Parts I'll update this thread again with the first batch of confirmed prizes. The raffle will commence at the end of the fundraising campaign on April 26th. Largest donation get first pick of prizes, and then I'll run down the list of participants in order until we run out of prizes. To participate please visit my personal fundraising home page at:http://www.marchforbabies.org/deanryanayer Make a donation and include your user id on the Arcade/Pinball forums so I can track you down when its your turn to select a prize from the raffle. FireTiger
"Largest donation get first pick of prizes" then it's not a raffle anymore? I'm confused - would it not be easier to sell raffle 'tickets' per item (like when you buy raffle tickets and put them into a jar at an in person fundraiser).Unwanted/less wanted items will have fewer 'tickets' and a higher chance to win, big ticket items can have a higher 'per ticket' price?Item 1 tickets $1.00 paypal...Item 2 tickets $1.00 paypal...Item 3 tickets $1.00 paypal...Item 4 tickets $2.00 paypal...Item 5 tickets $10.00 paypal...Then people only get tickets for the items they want to win.Oh and don't get caught w/o your forms:http://www.nals.org/?p=1340Good Luck!

Mxyzptlk
Is this a raffle? How the heck is "Largest donation get first pick of prizes" a raffle? Who are you working with @ Ground Kontrol? What pinball expo are you talking about? Seattle, Portland... Which one and contact if it's the N.W. pinball expo. I am not trying to bust your balls, but... This does not sound like a raffle and "Pinball Expo" does not mean much when every area has one.

Herbertsmart
Hi Fire Tiger, This is the way I've been running the raffle for 6 years. It works for me, and does a good deal of fundraising for the March of Dimes. I won't be changing the format of the raffle until I can no longer manage it in its current form. Thanks for the suggestion.
