How many volts should an Atari 2600 power supply put out?

How many volts should an original Atari 2600 power supply put out? I wonder if I have a failing power supply.

I check my original power supply with a volt meter and it reads 13-14volts DC, the lable on the plug reads 9v DC

Is the higher voltage due to the power company supplying 120v today instead of 115v back in the 80s?

Should I worry about the higher voltage damaging my 2600?

How many volts is too much for a completely original 2600?

Any advise would be appreciated

No, that's what it should put out without any load. If you plug it into a 2600 and then measure it, it'll be around 9-10V.
