Sharky
Due to Nostignga reasons I wanna re-live using the Good old Atari's built-in BASIC (I think it was built in ) Well my friend had one Atari 800 (Wasnt the newest model but the one before that ) Anyway I remember the some of the good old commands like CLOAD, CSAVE, GRAPHICS 18 , ruff, ruff , ruff and getting ERROR 13, or ruff, ruff, raff Well ivce been trying to get to Atari 400/800 Basic using an emulator called ATARIWINPLUS... I believe i might be missing a ROM somewhere because I cant get to ATARI Basic with the good old READY. Prompt. Ive unchecked the option Disable Basic at boot-up But i just keep getting BOOT ERROR on the emulator screen continuously The ROMS I do have are: atari5200.rom ataribas.rom atariosa.rom atarixl.rom atariosb.rom I got the obvoious in the right parts in my ROM Settings.... Am i missing a required ROM here? or maybe I got a corrupt one.
Bill Lange
The "Boot Error" is happening because of the simulated disk drive. Turn off all the disk drives and then do a cold boot of the emulator. If you want to use the emulated disk drives, you will need a disk image attached. WRL

Sharky
Let me know if you need a disk image and I email one to you. WRL No i got hundreds of Atari 800 disk images full of games that boot up automatically with my Front-end. But i wouldnt mind knowing where i can obtain a Cassette Image from (*.CAS) since i can now use the CLOAD feature.
