Another update: Texan Dealer (dopewars inspired game)

Complete re-write ... the original was written terribly and was slower than it should be.

 

As a drug dealer in Texas, your mission is to earn as much money as possible within 31 days by buying and selling drugs across different cities. If you visit Arlington, you can bet on horses (option 7 appears only in Arlington).

 

To start with , you need to visit the Bank and get a loan. Remember the loan goes into your Account, not your carried cash - so you need to Withdraw cash from the account. You can pay back the loan too , but remember , use the Account money .... the reason the Bank Account exists is that money gains interest in the bank daily.

 

Watch out when selling anything, as there is a chance of cops showing up, and depending on how much stuff you're caught in possession of, you will get days in jail (therefore pushing up the gamedays towards the 31 max)

 

All the drug amounts in each city are random, sometimes there won't be any for a certain item.....

 

At the end of the game, your total money (minus a debt if you didn't pay it off) is shown, as well as the number of each item sold during the 31 days.

 

This game is not really for youngsters so play alone if your a parent!

I was just testing Freeway 2 and noticed that the controls for the 1 player mode don't seem to work, and in the 2 player mode the joysticks control both birds at the same time. I am using Classic 99 with emulated keyboard joysticks.

Good stuff... though, I wonder how Texas Instruments feels about having its logo on the same screen as "Heroin," "Cocaine," and so on
