Here are the North American release dates and pricing. Link games are single player only (I held out a glimmer of hope that maybe they'd support two person multiplayer by actually taking advantage of the Wii U gamepad but can't as as I'm surprised).

April 3

1. Advance Wars $7.99

2. Mario & Luigi: Superstar Saga $7.99

3. Metroid Fusion $7.99

April 10

1. Kirby & the Amazing Mirror $6.99

2. WarioWare, Inc.: Mega Microgame $6.99

April 17

1. F-Zero Maximum Velocity $6.99

2. Golden Sun $7.99

April 24

1. Yoshi's Island: Super Mario Advance 3 $7.99

Usually Nintendo VC offerings are so underwhelming because they're just straight up lazy emulated dumps.. i.e. no different if you did it on xbox/wii/pc/whatever.

But these seem to have some kind of tie-in to the mii community thing. maybe for high scores? I dunno. Maybe they're trying now. :) Now if only they could finally speed up their releases rather than the extremely slow trickle we're all used to from them at this point..

8 bucks a title...ugh.....

They still haven't eliminated the ID tied to console right?

Forget it, they can still flounder away while I play GBA games on my Xbox\Wii.....or GBA. They look great on PC too.

:P

They (and Sony) should really think about lowering prices for these older games and make them available in larger portions. Not one or two a month bullcrap thats fades into nothingness 6 months later.

I think most 1st party releases have Miiverse communities, don't they? The appeal of that whole deal is lost on me so I never go there.

Super Mario World looks dark to me. The colors aren't as bright as the SuperNes original yet they brightened everything up for the GBA release to compensate for the poor screen of the original. But what's in that video looks like how their Wii NES downloads always looked. Drab and dark looking, but it definitely doesn't look like that on a backlit SP or DS Lite.

If the GBA port of SMB3 is released over here (And I see no reason why it won't since I don't see All-Stars being released for $8 on the SuperNes side), I hope they make the e-reader content available as well even if it's extra.

If anyone grabs Mario & Luigi Superstar Saga (The original cart still sits in my backlog so I definitely won't be buying it at this time), I'm curious if it features controller rumble. It's one of a handful of Game Boy Advance titles that incorporated controller rumble when played on a Game Boy Player with a rumble capable GameCube controller.

Nintendo doesn't usually go all out with these things, so I doubt it. But it would neat if they didn't forget this for this game, the Super Mario Bros. 3 port (Which will certainly appear here eventually to get the All-Stars remake of it out on the Virtual Console... and hopefully they remember the e-reader add-ons when they do), and anything else that may of incorporated it.

Also, I see they finally are including manual scans with these GBA titles. That should've been a standard feature from day 1 but better late than never, I suppose.

Apparently these downloads are color corrected to tone down their brightened colors that they had on account of the original non lit GBA. So that explains that.

That's good. One of the issues with playing GBA games on something like the GBA player for the Game Cube, is that that device didn't account for the purposely bright GBA games. I'm glad they will be compensating that with the Wii U versions. The games will look a lot more natural.

I admit I'm not REAL big on the price. But remember N64 titles for the Wii were going for like $20 at one point.

Maybe Nintendo needs that program Sony has.. where if you pay a certain amount for membership you get free games throughout the year.

It sounds like something Nintendo would pull though.

Even as it is, many including myself think that they've overpriced things. I personally think that prices a couple of dollars less would've led to me having spent more than I have over the years on the Wii. They're just expensive enough where they're not impulse purchases.

If that happens they would make billions on subscriptions because the whole planet would sign up for it. Free NES, SNES, Genesis and other eshop games per month? Sign me up now.

Same here. I probably would have invested in way more VC titles had the prices been at least a few dollars cheaper.
