adamchevy
Anyone ever use these? And are they worth it? I'm looking at buying a set on eBay. http://m.ebay.com/itm/251491517387?nav=SEARCH
adamchevy
Either know one has ever tried these, or your looking to snipe the eBay auction I'm interested in.
Reaperman
Just saw this. I've never used the messiah nes units, but I own their snes units and they're pretty crap (especially compared to the retrobit units for that system). The messiah d-pad disc thing is annoying, and the buttons have these really mushy switches beneath them--that's still way better than the start/select sensor things. Outside of *every single control surface* they're actually quite good. Good shape, good wireless performance, but it's all pretty meaningless with those controls. Would not recommend them. Thanks for your help! I ended up buying a wired one for the NES. Its a great controller!
+wood_jl
The NES "plus-shaped" control pad was excellent. When I first heard (several years ago) that someone was creating brand new wireless controllers, I was quite interested. Then I, too, saw that ridiculous disc-looking thing for a control pad, PASS. One has to wonder what they were thinking. I can't believe somebody paid 106 bucks for that!
bomberpunk
i bought the NES Messiah console when it was a preorder. the console itself looks nice as do the controllers. but both are light-weight and cheap. plus it's a struggle to remove a cartridge from the machine, and IIRC the game genie doesn't fit. or barely.
