Hard to judge from a trailer, but it kind of looks like the movie is going to be a bunch of YouTube clips with blocky computer graphics swirling around them. :D

Let me ask this: there are a lot of films being made recently that discuss the history of video games - what's going to be different about this one?

No worries, there are lots of great interviews with over a dozen top industry people, like Nolan Bushnell and John Romero, throughout the movie. I don't know what those other films are bringing to the table to do a direct comparison, but we offer insights into the earliest formation of the industry through to today as told by the people who made it happen. We hit on some big topics and themes along the way as well, like the industry's ups and downs, violence, etc.

And yes, there is extensive use of archival clips, YouTube content, original interviews, original game captures, and animation to help tell the story.
