danger1337
Picked up a local 2600 lot with games and a couple systems. The seller had "heavy sixer" in the decription, but after looking at the system in person something wasnt right. As far as I know it has the proper sticker on the bottom but the molding on the front is wrong. Any thoughts?
BigO
Yeah, that's not a heavy sixer. I'm not sure that there's anything on the sticker that indicates it's a "heavy". There were "light" 6 switch models (such as yours) and 4 switch models with Sunnyvale tags..
danger1337
Thanks. Thought the Sunnyvale tags only showed up for the heavy ones. Good to know.
BigO
On Sunnyvale Light Sixers: http://atariage.com/forums/topic/215081-sunnyvale-light-sixers/ On Sunnyvale Four Switch: http://atariage.com/forums/topic/183873-sunnyvale-4-switch/ On differences between heavy/light sixers there are a bunch of topics around here, but here's a good visual reference: http://atariage.com/forums/topic/207391-circus-atariage-2600/?p=2721466 Honestly, once you've seen the difference, it's really, really obvious which type it is when you're looking at one in real life. Pictures can make it hard to tell sometimes. This has to be one of the most commonly asked questions on this site so don't feel like the odd man out because of it.
