Rybags Posted April 11, 2014 Share Posted April 11, 2014 That's what they do normally... without a floppy it'll pissfart about trying to read a disk for 30+ seconds before showing the desktop. My previous ST had a faulty drive, IIRC it took about 3 times longer then showed the desktop without floppy icon when it wasn't working properly.
