NeoGeoNinja
I only browse the Jaguar Sector (heh) of the AA site, however, in the short time I've been here, as well as meeting and becoming accustomed to some lovely new faces (etc) I'm really very pleased with the layout and functionality of the site It's all laid out in a very forward thinking manner and, overall, just offers a smoother experience vs many of the other forums I have been frequenting over many years. I suppose it's not really a discussion point, but I just wanted to openly acknowledge my feelings on the subject

NeoGeoNinja
Is this an example of a 'boring Tuesday topic'? It was serious point really. I use quite a lot of forums throughout the week for various subjects of discussion, but so far, I've found that this is one of the most well thought out forums I've had the pleasure of interacting with. Whether it's a case of the forum software being great, or the admin customising the forum to be so end-user friendly, overall, I just find the whole experience a (not massive, but notable) step up from most other places. Like I said... no big deal, but just a "vocal" acknowledgement that I think it works rather nicely...

I've used a lot of forums, but AtariAge's is the most streamlined, user-friendly of them. And the most reliable, to boot.

Rick Dangerous
I actually do like the idea of "general" threads specifically in the Jaguar forum because there are things that I would rather specifically get input on from jag people.....if you know what I mean? So my apologies NeoGeoNinja for poking a bit of fun and really thanks for being progressive.

Gulfman
It's a great forum with alot of helpful people from all over the world. It's especially great you guys are the only people I know with an Atari Jaguar. It's a lonely world when you own a Jag, your friends just laugh but.....we believe!! Ha ? NinSEGA
How the heck are there ~250,000 Atari Jaguar units sold somewhere out there? Were most of them tossed, or are most of them in Old Man Koda's garage?

Rick Dangerous
I have got a friend to play Jag with me recently and he really dug it! We played Tempest 2k, Superburnout, and Full Circle: Rocketeer, which I figured was a good start. This made me really happy because most of my Xbox 360 playin' bonehead friends look at me like I'm crazy. On a side note, along the lines of production numbers... can anyone actually confirm if a second run of jaguar CD's was ever produced? If it was only 20k wouldn't that make it one of the rarest "mass market" video game add-ons ever produced? Even the Sega 32x sold something like 650k.... If it's only 20k then I'm pretty sure their are more Fairchild Channel F's and Vectrex's out there...

I'm 99% sure I've seen at least two different manufacture dates on Jag CDs, but have no idea if that constitutes two separate runs, I doubt it. Never heard of anything other than a single run.
