Despite the wonderful portfolio of games, Intellivision could not enjoy several classics of the time!

 

What is in your opinion the ones that were running on the competitor consoles that we miss the most

Don't kmow all these games and didn't want to get too crazy with choices - my top 3 that I would've liked to see on the inty are 1) Miner 2049er - always liked that game, 2) Joust, & 3 Jungle Hunt. Played all 3 on my cousin's C64.

Best games made for the 5200 in my opinion.

I voted thinking in present time so I didn't vote in Moon Patrol because we now have Space Patrol. Same with Smurf since we're going to have it.

 

I like Space Armada and it fills Space Invaders' gap.

Space Hawk doesn't get much love... I still have to play this game a little more and see if it replaces asteroids for me.

 

I would love to see Megamania or Astroblast. H.E.R.O. would be awesome as well as Frostbite (oh, there wasn't Frostbite in your list) .

I am in the same mind as Liduario as there are many Intellivision alternatives for many of the games in the list.

 

I also think that Frostbite is missing from that list. One of the best games ever!

Wizard of Wor is missing. I waited back in the 80's for a release of this game. It was shown in the CBS catalogue.

I'm not 100% but remember in Arcade and pretty sure that one was on Atari 7800. May have been on 2600 as well.

Food fight did not appear on the 2600 but it was one of the launch titles for the 7800 - and it's a pretty good game for the 7800 too.

 

Personally, I'd love for HERO to get the D2K treatment on Intv

Thanks for update wongojack - that's what I thought but wasn't sure about 2600. Would like to see on inty one day. Unfortunately not familiar w/ HERO but sure its a good game.

Atlantis to me feels like Missile Command or at least that same family tree. Yars Revenge on the Atari is one of the few games I keep going back to on that system.

missile command is more strategic, atlantis more action.... yars is hypnotic... I like this game a lot... I would play on inty alo today if it was available

I agree, Yars' Revenge is a great game. Loved it.
