Omega-TI
Does anyone one know of a freeware or shareware version of an "easy to use" video program? Can you make a recommendation and provide a link or download URL? I'd like the program to at least have the following features... 0) Run under Windoze 7 1) Ability to insert text over video. 2) Ability to add a music track to the video 3) Ability to add frames with photos or text into the video. Most important, be able to download from someplace that does not want my email address to spam me or want to put all kinds of loaders or browser additions onto my computer. I'm thinking of making a TI-99/4A related You Tube tutorial in the future and need the proper tool. Thanks!
Gary from OPA
Windows Live Movie Maker Part of the Windows Live Essentials package from Microsoft. More advanced the one included with Windows, and has good amount of third-party addons and forums about it.
+Random Terrain
You might like VideoPad Video Editor. That's what I use on my Windows 7 PC. I used it for free for a while and finally paid for it since it didn't cost too much.

I just ordered my new camera yesterday and do not want to put the cart before the horse if it'll expire too quickly.

It wasn't when I was using the free version, but things can change without warning. I don't know what the free version is like anymore.
