I hooked up my 5200 this weekend thinking that would be better than an emulator, but nope-- about the same results. Collision detection seems kind of wonky sometimes, too. It was the sit down "cocktail" style arcade version. I recall there being 'twinkling' stars in the background, medieval script fonts, unique music, and the game talked! Maybe it was the wizard's voice giving taunts to challenge the player? Anyhow, there was a completely different feel to the game. It would be neat to have an arcade faithful version of Wizard Of Wor for 5200/8-bit some day. But, until then this is the best console version of the game that I'm aware of.
