unholy
Anyone interested in a nice, Samsung-made SC1224? Works great and is in excellent shape, save for two small dings in the bottom edge of the screen bezel. Two years ago I replaced all the electrolytic capacitors. It's had rock-stable picture and vibrant colors ever since. I also performed two small modifications. I replaced the original 13-pin DIN A/V cable with DE-9 socket, and installed a sync separator circuit. The monitor is now compatible with a wide range of RGB-capable hardware, including systems that only produce Composite Sync signal (e.g. Amstrad CPC, ZX Spectrum). I've used it successfully with the following systems: Atari ST Amiga 500 Amstrad CPC464 (the last picture) ZX Spectrum +2 Harlequin (a ZX Spectrum 48K clone) Commodore 128 in 80-column mode (via an RGBi-to-RGB converter) (the last-but-one picture) Sega Genesis A DE-9 to DIN-13 cable is included, as is the original A/V cable, should the new owner want to reattach it. I'm thinking $70 + postage. The shipping weight is 30 lbs (about a third of it is packing materials, so that it gets safely wherever it goes) and I will do my best to find the most cost-effective shipping option. SOLD.
