But the concept of Highscore.com is very nice! It lets you manage your highscores, compete with others (local, regional or worldwide) and introduces some kind of Trophy/Point concept which is very popular in modern gaming consoles (ps3,xbobx). You can create leagues (gaming clubs or clans) too. One thing which is quite entertaining is to "vote for evidences" of other users on all kind of different platforms (which are a lot!!) ... that way you can find inspirations for great highscore games you would also consider to play. There is the abbuc bundesliga and there may be other Atari 8-bit High Score Club's too - I seem to have lost most of the Polish guys so perhaps they have something running? I think as there are few of us playing it would be nice to all play together as you then get several players of similar abilities for some friendly competition, but the main thing is to keep supporting the machine and support everyone invloved. Have fun and let us know if you find any great games. I play the HSCs rounds and I post in highscore.com my final score for that game! It's a great combination. Of course, you can use hs.com more but keeping record of your HSC achievements is already great. P.S.: I finally decided to get an Atari 8bit computer!!!! It probably will be an 800XL.
