rusho2nd
I checked out the atari protos website and the photo they had of a prototype for this game seemed to be different than mine. I was wondering how rare something like this might be, thanks guys!
atari181
Tempest is the guy to talk with here. I would send him a PM or he may chime in. It almost looks like a loaner type cart given out for people to test the game( like gaming magazines) rather than a Proto. Definately has value. Are you looking to sell? rusho2nd
I would be interested in selling it if its of fairly reasonable value
Crimefighter
Well...if you have an undiscovered alpha/beta version of a game out there...what differences have you found so far?
rusho2nd
Well...if you have an undiscovered alpha/beta version of a game out there...what differences have you found so far? Well i only tried it out a little bit today as i've been pretty busy. I only tried one game mode and just played a little bit, so far i haven't noticed any huge differences, i might need to analyze it further. i don't have a copy of the actual stargunner game so i've been comparing it to a video. Tempest
You should have Mitch or CPUWIZ dump it to see if it's different. It's really hard to tell with Telesys protos because they don't have dates on their labels although I'm guessing it's the final because it looks like this one: http://www.atariprotos.com/2600/software/stargunner/stargunnerproto.htm

I also don't understand what i'd have to do as far as getting it dumped goes
