Gary from OPA
Yep, four daughters here. Gonna be fun when they're all teenagers in a few years. I knew a TI99 dad once that ended up with six daughters, and no son's so he end up calling his computer Fred as it was to him the only 'male' in his household. sometimes99er
One boy aged 6. This year plenty of gifts on the bed. Father's Day is celebrated in Denmark every year on June 5th, which is also Constitution Day, the closest thing to a Danish national day, which may have contributed to very few families in the country being aware of the day's special significance to fathers. In the period 1947-56, at the behest of Nordic merchants, the day was reserved for the second Sunday in November, but in Denmark the new date never really caught on, and therefore it was moved back to June 5th again. The first Father's Day was held June 19th, 1910 in Spokane, Washington, USA. In Denmark, Father's Day was introduced around 1935. In the other Nordic countries, it is Father's Day on the second Sunday in November.
